YouTuber and self-proclaimed clickbaiter, George Dunnett, records his comic journey of converting a tiny abandoned home in the United Kingdom from a shed crammed with old car parts and tools into a brilliant cottage house.
The building Dunnett bought on a lane called “The Cobbles” was his first, and he started renovations in 2020. First order of business? Tackling critical foundational repair and replacing the rickety ladder to the second floor with a custom wooden staircase. The floors were bad, mainly just dirt, and almost every wall needed rework or fixing due to water damage.
Check out Dunnett’s dry jokes as proceeds with the rehab, its unavoidable and expensive unexpected issues, and a complete tour of his finished work with small touches that “really classed up the place.”
