Hollywood’s biggest action stars seem to have a new addition to their life cycle: their own headline TV series. The likes of Sylvester Stallone in Tulsa King, Harrison Ford in 1923’s Yellowstone Televisual Universe, and now Arnold Schwarzenegger is making his debut in the small screen world with the upcoming Netflix series, FUBAR.

Netflix recently released a teaser video for the secretive series, which features the Terminator (or, Conan) himself in the leading role. The message is clear: Arnold Schwarzenegger is starring in a streaming series filled with shooty action and broad laughs. The official synopsis reads, “A CIA operative on the verge of retirement discovers a family secret. Forced to go back into the field for one last job, FUBAR tackles universal family dynamics set against a global backdrop of spies, action, and humor.”

FUBAR is created by Nick Santora, known for his work on Amazon’s Reacher series. The cast also includes Monica Barbaro from Top Gun: Maverick, Jay Baruchel, Fortune Feimster (as seen in the teaser video), and Gabriel Luna. Despite the notable cast and promising synopsis, the show remains a mystery, with Netflix intentionally keeping details under wraps. However, the streaming giant is offering “classified updates” for those who sign up for news drops on their website.

As of now, FUBAR’s premiere is set for May 25th, leaving fans eager to learn more about the highly anticipated series. With the addition of Schwarzenegger and the talented team behind the show, it’s safe to say that FUBAR will not disappoint.
