Artist Paints Van Gogh’s Starry Night on Water

Van Gogh’s Starry Night

Turkish artist Garip Ay paint Van Gogh’s Starry Night on water and it is an outstanding thing to watch.

The technique Ay is using is known as Ebru or Paper marbling. It is a process of aqueous surface design which can create patterns similar to smooth marble or other types of stone.

The patterns are the outcome of color drift on either plain water or a viscous solution known as size, and then accurately transferred to an absorptive surface, such as paper or fabric.
