Check Out This Mountain Highway With The Worlds Biggest U-Turn in the World

In China there’s a mountain highway in the province of Guizhou which is an engineering marvel, If it looks like a very simple solution, that’s because it is. It’s quite literally a big, elevated loop that runs over the top of both carriageways. The loop section has a speed limit of 40 km/h (around 25 mph) so anyone who needs to use it will have to slow down quite a bit as they enter it, but it looks like there’s plenty of distance for drivers to brake. Considering that this stretch of highway is in a very remote part of China where there are very few opportunities to turn around should you miss your exit, it’s something that’s going to save drivers who frequently use the highway a lot of pain!
