Coffee Plantation in Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico – the land of endless sand and exciting tropical terrains set in the backyard of the USA. This is the place where you will hear a legend for everything you see. Apart from the relaxing weekends by the beach, Puerto Rico has much to offer to the curious traveller. This is a land of coffee, a tradition of over 150 years.

The best Puerto Ricancoffee comes from the ripe beans grown high in mountainous regions of the Toro Negro. There are a number of coffee plantations or haciendas, as they are locally called, in the towns of San Sebastian, Jayuya, Adjuntas, Las Marias, Ponce, and Lares. For some of these it is a minimum two hours drive from the San Juan area, on very twisting, curving roads.

Loved the calm atmosphere of Puerto Rico, Beautiful places to look at and relax in the fresh and coffee filled environment.
