Fossilized Dinosaur Brain Discovered

A piece of a dinosaur’s brain has been found in Sussex, England. The piece is of fossilized brain tissue thought to be from a species similar to Iguanodon, large herbivores that lived about 133 million years ago.

The discovery is the first known of its kind, largely due to the precise conditions needed to fossilize soft tissue before decay sets in. The find has allowed researchers to study new information on the anatomy of a dinosaur, and is an exciting addition of knowledge.
