Free Top Gun DLC Of Microsoft Flight Simulator Coming This Year

Microsoft Flight Simulator is getting the speed you want. Yup, the huge virtual piloting sim is preparing for a bunch of Top Gun content with a free DLC later this year.

It will come with the new Top Gun movie which will be coming out this fall, Xbox followed up news of a new console port with a quick tease featuring a whole lotta expensive warplanes flying around. It looks like you’ll be playing as pilots, with a whole hanger packed with military aircraft.

It also seems you’ll be able to take off and land on aircraft carriers at sea, putting your touchdowns to the hardest test. The only things missing are high-stakes dogfights.
