ISS Astronauts Will Watch Star Wars: The Last Jedi In Space

Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Star Wars fans are everywhere, even in the space and what is the best place to watch Star Wars movie other than space itself! Astronauts aboard the International Space Station will be watching the movie in space. NASA has confirmed that they will be watching the much-awaited sequel that’s opening in cinemas across the world shortly.

It’s not unusual for the crew to watch movies in space. The ISS has a library of more than 500 movies which includes both classics and recent titles. Astronauts can watch movies on their days off just like the rest of us. The ISS astronauts will watch the movie using one of the laptops onboard or the projector. They need some downtime after all.

NASA Public Affairs Officer Dan Huot confirmed that while the astronauts will watch the movie, it’s not clear when they will watch it. “They typically get movies as digital files and can play them back on a laptop or a standard projector that is currently aboard,” he added.
