A natural occurrence that many people aren’t aware of is the magical cherry blossom season in Japan. Japan is an especially gorgeous place during Spring. The country is practically overtaken by the stunning, majestic cherry blossoms sprouting or floating off trees. The Japanese even track the cherry blossom season, similar to how some may track coming snow in their regions. They use The Meteorological Agency to watch the forecasts. The blossoms tend to move in what is called ““sakura zensen,” in which the phenomenon moves north and up the country.
National Geographic has provided some of the best photographs of the blossoms taken by natives. So until you are able to see it in person, continue scrolling to view the breathtaking sights that look as if they emerged from a dream. This is simply mesmerizing.
