Monster Avalanche Near Everest Caught On Tape

Avalanche Near Everest

A huge avalanche on Annapurna this month was recorded on film by mountain climbers at Kapuche Lake, in Nepal. It’s the lowest altitude glacier lake in the world at 2,546 meters above sea level.

After watching this awesome avalanche, the climbers were caught off guard when an air blast from the avalanche thundered past them—an extreme wind driven by the body that had just fallen the peak.

The video is extraordinary to see, and seldom you can only watch in awe at the massive and absolute power and grandeur of nature.
