Netflix’s Dark Comedy Series BEEF Trailer

Netflix has recently unveiled the highly-anticipated trailer for Beef, a dark comedy series produced by A24 and starring the dynamic duo of Steven Yeun and Ali Wong. The series is set to premiere on April 6th and promises to be a hilarious, yet poignant exploration of two strangers’ existential crises.

The trailer showcases a fateful road rage incident between Danny, played by Yeun, and Amy, played by Wong, that ignites an unexpected feud between the two. The preview teases a series of back-and-forth revenge plots that escalate in hilarity and absurdity, ultimately forcing the duo to confront their personal demons and reevaluate their lives.

Beef was created, executive produced, and directed by Lee Sung Jin, best known for his work on the hit shows Dave and Silicon Valley. Jin has previously collaborated with Yeun and Wong on the acclaimed adult animated series, Tuca & Bertie. In Beef, Yeun plays Danny, a struggling contractor with a chip on his shoulder, while Wong portrays Amy, a successful entrepreneur with a seemingly perfect life. The supporting cast includes Joseph Lee as George, Young Mazino as Paul, David Choe as Isaac, and Patti Yasutake as Fumi.

According to the official synopsis, Beef delves into the consequences of a single road rage incident on the lives of the two protagonists. As their feud escalates, Danny and Amy find themselves grappling with the repercussions of their actions and the impact it has on their relationships and personal growth.

Beef is executive produced by Yeun through his banner, Universal Remote, as well as Wong and Jake Schreier, who is also directing several episodes. The series boasts an impressive ensemble cast that includes Maria Bello, Ashley Park, Justin H. Min, Mia Serafino, and Remy Holt. Fans of dark comedies and witty banter are sure to be entertained by this unique and captivating series when it premieres on Netflix this April.
