New York City’s Waterfront Footage From The 1940s Colorized

New York City’s Waterfront Footage

The New York City skyline has transformed a lot over the decades and footage shot from the Hudson River in the 1940s certainly proves that. To make it even more attractive, the footage has been colorized and sound has been added to give viewers a feel for what the Big Apple looked like back in the day.

The original video footage was in black and white and contained scenes from San Francisco and New York. You can watch it HERE.

Video restorer NASS colorized the footage.
