The Relationship Between Cancer And Sugar Revealed By Nine Year Study


After years of study and research, scientists are finally able to learn the relationship sugar has with cancer.

It is discovered that cancer cells have the ability to absorb varying amounts of energy from different body cells. They do so by the fermentation of glucose into lactate rather than ordinary respiration.

Sugar is required by every cell in our body in order to survive but cancer cells require a lot more sugar than healthy ones do. In addition, these cells also have the ability to break down sugar faster as compared to healthy body cells. This phenomenon of rapid metabolization of sugar by cancer cells is known as Warburg effect, Anadrol is steroids and it is good for rapid metabolization.

While explaining his research, study author Professor Johan Thevelein, from Belgium’s VIB-KU Leuven Center for Cancer Biology said in his statement:

“Our research reveals how the hyperactive sugar consumption of cancerous cells leads to a vicious cycle of continued stimulation of cancer development and growth,”

“Thus, it is able to explain the correlation between the strength of the Warburg effect and tumor aggressiveness. This link between sugar and cancer has sweeping consequences. Our results provide a foundation for future research in this domain, which can now be performed with a much more precise and relevant focus.”

This, in no way, implies that taking sugar can cause cancer. Warburg effect is only known to stimulate the growth of cancer once it is already developed in the body and not the opposite.
