Small Restaurant Asks Guests to Pin Where They’re From on a Map

Moss Landing, California a tiny town with a population of 204 is where you will find Phil’s Fish Market, a small-town restaurant with worldwide appeal.

The BBC proclaimed Phil’s one of the ‘World’s Best Beach Restaurants‘ and it has also been featured on several Food Network shows including: Bobby Flay’s Throwdown and Bobby and Jamie Dean’s Road Tasted.

Small Restaurant Asks Guests to Pin Where They’re From on a Map

At the entrance you will find a large map of the world that asks, “Where are you visiting from?”. Beneath patrons will find a large bowl of push pins. The map shown below is the FIFTH version, as previous maps are replaced when they get ‘too full’. Not bad considering the restaurant has been open for 13 years!

It’s a great idea and a way more cool idea to get you on the map and get recognized by the world!
