Saudia Arabia is notorious for deserts and being hot but a powerful storm brought sub-zero temperatures to the northern region of Tabuk, Saudi Arabia where temperatures plummeted to -2°C (28.4°F), covering the neighboring desert into dessert which is a wrong kind of desert.

The rare event was captured by TikTok user @x509o, whose surreal video of snow under the sand made for a remarkable sight.
