Team Red Bull Sets Blistering Fast World Record of 1.91 Second Pit Stop

Red Bull Racing made the history at the 2019 British Grand Prix at Silverstone by performing the fastest Formula 1 tire change ever done. The team smashed the previous world record by 0.01 seconds which was set back in 2016 by Felipe Massa’s Williams Racing Team.

Red Bull brought Pierre Gasly into the pits on Lap 12 and provided the young Frenchman with a new set of hard tires. After being stationary for just 1.90 seconds, Gasly then achieved the fourth place on the fresh rubber to take his greatest result of the season so far.
