This Is BMW Thinking Outside Of The Box


This is one and only concept was dubbed the BMW GINA. The name stood for “Geometry and functions In ‘N’ Adaptations” and was lead by the carmaker’s head of design who requested that his team”challenge existing principles and conventional processes.”


The build began back in 2001, and the Gina has just four panels. It is made from a strong, polyurethane coated spandex, a man-made fabric that enables the body to change shape according to speed and exterior conditions.
