Map of the World Shows Where Our Trees Grow

In this interesting map of the world, we see where our trees grow. More precisely, we see the world’s forest cover mass as a percentage (using data from 2010). In this scenario, ‘trees’ are described as vegetation taller than 5m (16.4 ft) in height.

The map was recently shared by astronaut Col. Chris Hadfield on Facebook.
