This Rare Black Leopard Photo at Night Took Six Months

Wildlife photographer Will Burrard-Lucas spent six months capturing the once-in-a-lifetime shot, but he took it and it is phenomenal.

In a detailed blog post, Burrard-Lucas says he has specialized in photographing wildlife at night—a look into a night-time kingdom where nocturnal animals such as hyenas, leopards, and lions in nature.

The image was taken with strategically placed remote cameras in Laikipia County, Kenya. Specific photo settings were: f/5.6, ISO 1600, 30 seconds, 23mm.
