Donald Trump is essentially the human version of a meme.
Bright and early on Monday morning, the man who was elected leader of an entire country let his 56 million Twitter followers know he has no idea how to spell the word “smoking.”
“Democrats can’t find a Smocking Gun tying the Trump campaign to Russia after James Comey’s testimony. No Smocking Gun…No Collusion,” Trump tweeted, attempting to quote Fox News.
“Democrats can’t find a Smocking Gun tying the Trump campaign to Russia after James Comey’s testimony. No Smocking Gun…No Collusion.” @FoxNews That’s because there was NO COLLUSION. So now the Dems go to a simple private transaction, wrongly call it a campaign contribution,…

….which it was not (but even if it was, it is only a CIVIL CASE, like Obama’s – but it was done correctly by a lawyer and there would not even be a fine. Lawyer’s liability if he made a mistake, not me). Cohen just trying to get his sentence reduced. WITCH HUNT!

To make things worse, Trump incorrectly spelled “smoking” as “smocking” not one, but two times. That means it’s unlikely it was an autocorrect mishap and instead the way he truly thinks the word is spelled.
And unfortunately for him, he also spelled the word like the meme associated with Jim Carey’s character in 1994 comedy, The Mask.
So it’s no surprise that the thing many people took away from the president’s tweet was not the bashing of Democrats, reference to Obama or a shot at Cohen. It was quite simply that this 72-year-old man with so much power can’t even manage to spell properly, or at the very least, proofread his tweets before he sends them.
“Smocking gun”. Did orange dumbass smock another bong of stupidity? https://t.co/o5giToctDK

Smocking is just a rich, wonderful, quilty, nursery-school-craft-project word — I smell the paste https://t.co/zOf3HjlGou

When you wake up, hop on Twitter, and see #SmockingGun is trending because Trump misspelled smoking twice in one tweet. pic.twitter.com/8thhfa0nBA
